Here at St Francis’ we are passionate about Jesus and we want to share his friendship, love and truth. Jesus said “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”.


We are a loving family that is Bible based and Spirit led. We exist to worship God, to grow in community, and to be sent out into the world.


Church open for Private Indivdual Prayer – Monday to Friday 9.30am-10.30am throughout November. Starting on Monday 16th November

This year we are joining together with St Leonards Thrybergh to bring you an online Christingle service. This will take place on Sunday 6th December 5pm via Zoom.
to reserve your DIY Christingle kit which you can collect before the service. (All you need to provide is the orange!)
Hope to see you there for lots of fun as we celebrate the Light of Christ and raise money for The Children’s Society.


Children’s & youth work is an important part of life at St. Francis. We run regular groups for all ages.


Footprints is a group for families with children aged 0-4 that meets every Tuesday at 10am – 11.15am term time only.  At Footprints we sing songs, dance, listen to bible stories, make lots of different crafts. Vision is our youth discipleship group. It’s where, as a church, we specifically focus on investing into our young people’s spiritual development. There is always food and lots of fun, and alongside that fun our aim is to encourage and support our young people to grow a deep, lifelong [...]

Morning Prayer

An informal service of Morning Prayer takes place in St Francis Church every Thursday morning from 10 am to 11 am except when extreme weather conditions prevail (deep snow and ice). We follow an adapted Morning Prayer service with readings from the Old Testament, New Testament and the psalms. [...]
